Día de los Muertos at The Summit!

This past week in Spanish class was all about Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. We contributed to the school-wide ofrenda, learning about the importance of remembering our loved ones. Our many crafts that we made reflected the creative and colorful nature of this celebration. We even talked about the great migration of the Monarch butterflies that is happening in this season! It was wonderful to share this important piece of Latin American culture with such curious students!
