Trimester 1 Celebration!

Thank you to all who joined our class for their Community Helpers presentations on Wednesday afternoon! We prepared for this day for several weeks.  Students listened carefully to guest speakers during Community Helpers Week and then through class discussion and learning resources, learned more about various community helpers.  We learned the important facts about each community helper role and then worked to create our costumes.

The students did an amazing job sharing their learning!  If you didn’t get a chance to attend, you can reenact their presentation at home by asking the following questions:

  • What is a community?
  • How are you a community helper?
  • Where do you work?
  • What is your favorite thing about your job?
  • What is your least favorite thing about your job?
  • What did you like most about this project?
  • Is there anything else you want to tell me about your job?

Have a great weekend!
