Author Study

This week, the kindergarten class began an author study on Jan Brett! Jan Brett is well known for her books about the winter season. This week we read the book “The Mitten”. In this fun tale, the main character loses his glove and finds it, but only after many animals have decided to make it their cozy home for the night. After listening to the story, the students later wrote about what types of animals they would find in their mitten if they lost it. Over the next few weeks, we will continue to explore more books by Jan Brett.
