It’s hard to believe we are already 7 weeks into the fall semester! This means middle school students are already thinking about preparations for our annual Día de los Muertos celebration at the Summit. During the week of October 31-November 4th, we will be celebrating and exploring this Mexican holiday. This holiday centers around families and friends remembering and celebrating the lives of their loved ones who have passed away. Students will learn about the history, traditions, and significance of this multi-day celebration. As part of our celebration, we will provide an opportunity for everyone (students, families, etc) to order spirit wear. All students are encouraged to wear their spanish shirt to school on Monday, October 31st.
