Snow Day Science

Experimental Question: How does the liquid water content of snow affect its texture?

Today you have the chance to conduct an experiment to explore how liquid water content affects snow texture. Throw a sample of snow in the freezer for a while to ensure no liquid water content. Add incremental amounts of water to your snow sample and explore its properties. Does it clump together differently with different amounts of liquid water added? Please have fun exploring the properties of snow and how different liquid water content affects its characteristics.
