Middle School Citizenship and Global Perspectives and Citizenship

Middle School Citizenship

It is hard to believe that our class wraps up Friday! The 6th graders have worked to improve organization, researched and shared executive function skills, reflected on their personal executive function strengths and weaknesses, and begun to build their portfolios for their 6th-grade year. These students have also benefitted from our partnership with the Social Institute where we have considered and discussed topics including best practices in research and reflecting on family culture. The students continue to grow as class and as members of our middle and upper school communities!

Global Perspectives and Citizenship

We are all in on Asia! The students are wrapping up their Asia Projects this week as they create travel pamphlets for excursions throughout various Asian countries.  The students built their design skills using Canva, which is a popular and well-known design tool.  Friday, the students will conclude our study of Asia by viewing each other’s travel pamphlets. These travel inspirations are the second project component following presentations sharing information about their chosen locations.
