{"id":3096,"date":"2021-10-07T14:41:45","date_gmt":"2021-10-07T14:41:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thesummitprep.org\/high-school\/?p=3096"},"modified":"2021-10-07T14:41:45","modified_gmt":"2021-10-07T14:41:45","slug":"updates-from-the-art-room-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thesummitprep.org\/middleschool\/2021\/10\/07\/updates-from-the-art-room-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Updates from the Art Room!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Early Learners -1<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">st<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> grade listened to the book The Color Monster by Anna Lienas.\u00a0 They drew their own color monster and could paint their monster expressing feelings through color.\u00a0 2<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">nd<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and 3<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">rd<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> graders learned about Ton Schulten, a Dutch painter who mainly paints landscapes using bright blocks of color.
