On a weekly basis students will challenge each other in this game that requires a great deal of strategic thinking. During class, students worked to discover rules about exponents by analyzing patterns and drawing conclusions. They are working on applying these rules in a variety of different ways.<\/p><p>Algebra I &#8211; Algebra 1 also opened the semester with a month-long ultimate tic-tac-toe tournament. They are now studying functions. They are looking at interpreting function notation and what it tells about real life scenarios.\u00a0<\/p><p>Geometry &#8211; We hit the ground running this semester! Geometry students worked with the angles and sides of triangles to build understanding of trigonometric functions.
