These islands have a variety of ecosystems, as well as weather patterns that result in some areas receiving more or less rain, and therefore having particular ecosystems as a result. This island will be turned into a 3D representation once they have completed their maps. <br \/><br \/><strong>7th and 8th Grade Physical Science<\/strong> <\/p>\r\n<p>Students have learned about the periodic table, atoms, molecules, and moles. Balancing chemical equations and determining how many moles of a new substance are produced are what students have been working on most recently, and we begin to prepare for lab activities by learning about basic lab procedures.<br \/><br \/><strong>3D Design<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Students in this class are working on a variety of projects, working on assets for video games, learning 3D sculpting, animating scenes, and even particle systems to simulate water and precipitation.<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>6th Grade Ecology Students are taking what they have learned about topographic maps and ecosystems to create their own island map.
