Students in sixth grade<\/strong> wrapped up their Rome research projects today with a gallery walk. They took notes on each other\u2019s projects and left feedback for each other throughout our class this morning. One student recreated the Twelve Tables (the basis of Roman law) on small pieces of wood. A few others opted to create books to showcase their learning. Several chose to create slideshows, while others chose to write papers. It was great to see their creative approaches to sharing their research and arguments.<\/span><\/p>\n

In seventh grade<\/strong>, students began a study of 19th century immigration yesterday. Working in four groups, students are studying immigration from Germany, Ireland, Italy, and China during the 1800s.<\/span><\/p>\n
