We took a few minutes to explore the classic Oregon Trail game, discussed the route and impact of the transcontinental railroad, and read a primary source about the extermination of the American bison together in class. They\u2019ve had great questions as we\u2019ve covered this unit, demonstrating strong critical thinking.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Eighth grade<\/strong> students have made progress on their research presentations over abolitionists in the few class periods they have had history this week.
