Feeling overwhelmed by the unique challenges of modern parenting? Santos, an expert on the science of happiness, shares evidence-based strategies to help parents manage stress, navigate their children\u2019s academic pressures and screen time, and avoid the pitfalls of overparenting. Parents will also explore why prioritizing their own well-being is essential\u2014not only for themselves, but for creating a happier, healthier family life. This session is designed for parents of children of all ages, with a special focus on the middle-grade to teen years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will offer a sharing viewing opportunity on Tuesday, April 21 at 3:00 p.m. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>About the presenter:<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Laurie Santos, PhD, is the Chandrika and Ranjan Tandon Professor of Psychology at Yale University and host of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Happiness Lab<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> podcast. She is internationally recognized for her work on the science of happiness, and her Yale course, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Psychology and the Good Life<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, became the university\u2019s most popular course in over 300 years, enrolling nearly one in four students. Santos\u2019 research and teaching have been featured in <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The New York Times<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, NBC Nightly News, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Today Show<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, GQ, Slate, and O! Magazine.
