This class will involve a variety of hands-on activities, experiments, and projects. Students will learn basic concepts in chemistry, biology, and physics, as well as geology and meteorology. They will also learn the effects of technology on our ability to observe the world in which we live. One key aspect of this class is that students will learn that there are not clear delineations between scientific disciplines and the wider world. A good scientist needs to be a good writer, and they must also have a good knowledge of math and how to integrate technology in useful ways.
