At The Summit, we believe that a good education is the foundation of a healthy community. As the only full-time, fully accredited Pre-K through twelfth grade independent school in the region, we have the unique honor of providing a top-tier progressive education for all our students. However, with that honor comes a responsibility for us to strive for greatness at all levels.
The Summit Preparatory School is different by design. Our students acquire not only the skills for academic success but also the skills to overcome challenges, solve problems, and pursue lifelong achievement.
Academic excellence is expressed in students’ depth of learning and a challenging curriculum which includes innovative programs such as STEM and daily Spanish. Summit students graduate with an average ACT score well above state and local school district averages.
Independent schools like The Summit are an essential component of a strong economy. Our community can build a strong foundation for economic success and shared prosperity by investing in innovative education.
Self-reliance lies at the heart of The Summit. Operating as a not-for-profit organization, we subsidize the education for 25% of our students to maintain an economically diverse student body. The Summit receives no state funding and relies exclusively on tuition or family and community support to recoup costs.
The Summit is growing. Enrollment across all grades is increasing and exciting changes are coming to campus soon. What started as a good idea by progressive parents and educators has grown into a premier facility for academic excellence.
You can be a part of this educational innovation by investing in The Summit and allowing us to offer an independent school curriculum to more students. Join us and become a 2020-2021 member of our Raven Partners in Learning program today!
Raven Partners in Learning will receive special recognition at the school, be invited to exclusive events with other Raven Partners, and receive VIP recognition and access to all Summit events.
