As a Summit Parent or Guardian, you are a member of the Summit Parent Organization (SPO). SPO was formed in 2007 as a link between parents, faculty, staff, and the Board of Trustees to enhance communication and foster a partnership to create the best learning environment possible.
SPO consists of an executive committee, class representatives, event chairs, the Head of School, and a collaboration with the Board of Trustees. These roles are defined in the SPO Bylaws.
To make this partnership successful, parents must play an active role at the school. To do this, SPO asks each family to volunteer four times throughout the school year. SPO holds several fundraising and community events throughout the year. Please see the list of available events below.
SPO’s active Parent involvement, along with faculty, staff, and the Board of Trustees, makes The Summit Prep a truly inspiring place for children.

SPO sponsors, hosts and participates in a variety of activities throughout the school year. For a listing of SPO events and activities please check the Summit calendar.
