Middle School and Fifth Grade Students Visit The Library Center

Middle school and fifth grade students took a trip to The Library Center this morning. Each sixth grader was partnered with a fifth grade buddy, and they traveled through the library together to check out books, discuss middle school reading expectations, and share suggestions for future reads. Seventh and eighth grade students visited the library later in the morning and used their time to check out new independent reading books and work through analytical annotation. Many purchased items from Mudhouse and then moved to the Teen Section of the library to read and annotate. Both groups had valuable experiences utilizing this community resource.
