Geometry (4/5–4/9)

We finished class on 3/31 creating inscribed circles of triangles using angle bisectors and circumscribed circles of triangles using perpendicular bisectors. On Monday, we created regular hexagons inscribed in circle using 6 equilateral triangles. Tuesday and Wednesday we worked with equations of circles on the coordinate plane. We looked at equations written in standard form and then used completing the square to take equations written in general form to standard form. Next week, we will examine some relations in chords, secants, and tangents. The Unit Test on Circles will be given out next week and will be due the following week.
