Middle School Spanish Update

Summit middle schoolers have had a successful year in Spanish class. They have expanded their vocabulary, learned new grammar concepts, and have a better understanding and appreciation for the diverse culture of Spanish-speaking countries. Recently they were able to utilize these skills in a real word experience as we traveled to Cielito Lindo for lunch. Students were responsible for ordering and making all requests in Spanish.

Sixth graders are wrapping up the year with a geography unit. Students are responsible for knowing the location and capital of each Spanish-speaking country. Seventh graders are wrapping up their unit on reflexive verbs and daily routines. They are know able to describe their daily routines in Spanish.
