Originally from San Francisco, California, Blair Verney obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English and History at the University of Rochester before completing her Master of Arts in History at the University of New Hampshire. Blair has over twelve years of experience in education, beginning her career teaching 5th grade in Reno, Nevada. She has also taught middle and high school history, tutored math, led science summer camps, and coached college level Ultimate Frisbee. A dedicated life-long learner, Blair looks forward to sharing the excitement and adventure of learning with her students!

In her free time, Blair loves to be with her husband and two young children. They work in the garden, go for walks and hikes, read, bake all manner of things, and play with their dog. They also love to travel and are always eager to learn about places and cultures.
