Years of Experience: 4

In the spring of 2016, Sydney Starkey graduated Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She spent two wonderful years as a Kindergarten teacher in the East Newton District before having her two sons and transitioning to being a stay-at-home mom. In the fall of 2021, she returned to work at her children’s preschool. She loves working with young children, and she is thrilled to be a part of The Summit for the upcoming school year!

Outside of teaching, Sydney loves spending quality time with her family enjoying nature. She is easily delighted by a great cup of coffee accompanied by her cats in her sunroom, scrapbooking, and searching a craft fair for the next pair of eccentric earrings to add to her collection!
