Stephanie Vaughn is an Army veteran with ten years of teaching experience. Her most recent role was serving as a Kindergarten through 5th Grade Gifted and Talented Teacher and Facilitator in Katy, Texas. Previous roles have included Junior High English Language Arts and Reading teacher, critical thinking teacher, English department co-chair, among others. She is a dedicated educator, passionate about helping students develop their creative, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through intellectually stimulating lessons that incorporate research, investigation, and technology to help them explore complex topics. Her strengths include curriculum design, interdisciplinary units of instruction, gifted education, and differentiated instruction.
In her free time, Stephanie enjoys cheering on her daughter’s soccer team, hiking, and camping. She looks forward to sharing her love for hands-on activities, experiments, and problem-solving with the kindergarten students at The Summit.
