What’s in a Drop of Blood?

Continuing our study of the human body this week, we have been focusing on the circulatory system. We learned about and mixed up our own blood. Students discovered what is in a drop of blood.  Discussing correct percentages, students added red blood cells (red hots), white blood cells (marshmallows), plasma (Karo syrup), and platelets (rice)! Would you like to know the job of each part? Ask your child:)
