Yarn, Cardboard, Clay,

and even paper mache!

Our classroom has been a whirlwind of creativity as we prepare for our First Trimester Celebration! The theme of our showcase is the solar system, and our sensational seconds have been hard at work bringing it to life.

You might notice bits of yarn, cardboard, and clay making their way home—signs of busy hands and imaginative minds at work! Each student has chosen a planet, moon, or other celestial object to research and represent. Through reading, writing, and art, they’re learning what makes their part of the solar system special.

We’ve compared planet sizes and orbits, and discovered fascinating facts about the sun, stars, and beyond. Now, students are turning that knowledge into beautiful projects they can’t wait to share.

As we put the finishing touches on our displays, the excitement is building. We can’t wait for you to see the fantastic combination of learning and creativity that’s filling our classroom—proof that when curiosity and effort come together, the results truly shine!
