Greetings 2nd Grade Families,

Second graders have been learning so much in music classes this month! They are learning their finger numbers for keyboard work, as well as mastering using the pattern of black keys on the piano to locate different notes on the white keys. They are reviewing the music notation/reading concepts of treble clef for the high notes (right hand) and bass clef for the low notes (left hand), as well as space notes and line notes. Additionally, they have been having a great time learning the songs they will be performing on the fall concert. They are very excited about performing with upper school students.
