Mad Libs

Yesterday students brushed up on their parts of speech knowledge. They defined and practiced using nouns, verbs, adverbs, and adjectives. They used “Mad Libs” to create funny and silly stories using the parts of speech.

Next week’s plan:

  • Math – Students will finish the unit on Area and next they will learn how to multiply and divide multi-digit numbers.
  • Writing – After finishing their personal narratives, students will begin a poetry unit.
  • Social studies – Students will begin learning about the Louisiana Purchase and Lewis and Clark.
  • Reading – Charlotte’s Web and James and the Giant Peach continues.

Have a wonderful weekend!
