Nature Center Field Trip

According to my step counter, we walked 9k steps today at the Nature Center hike field trip! Needless to say, we made rounds today!

3rd graders started their afternoon at the park next to the Nature Center to enjoy their lunch and play for a while. Then we headed to the trails and went on a scavenger hunt. Along the way we saw a few snakes, some turtles, fish, many birds, and insects. We walked through Missouri habitats including upland and bottomland forest, savanna, stream, glades, and more! This field trip was a wonderful first-hand insight to our studies on Missouri plants and animals.

Thank you to the chaperones for joining us!
