Watershed Service Learning

Third graders had an exciting and educational trip to the watershed! They learned how the watershed helps protect our water and supports a healthy environment.

They explored native plants, wetlands, and grasslands, and learned about some of the wildlife that lives in these habitats. Students also got hands-on experience by digging holes, planting native plants, and collecting seeds for future restoration projects.
