Recently, third graders have continued their exploration of early Missouri with a hands-on social studies project! The whole class worked together to create informative posters – one showcasing a timeline of Missouri’s history from 10,000 BC to the present, and the others highlighting Native American groups who have called Missouri home throughout the years.
Students collaborated to research, discuss, and illustrate key events and cultures that shaped our state’s history. It’s been awesome to see their teamwork and curiosity as they pieced together how Missouri has changed and grown over time.
