2nd grade yoga

Last week we did our mindfulness craft for the month.  Each kid chose between a pumpkin, cat or wolf craft to make.  These crafts give the kids a chance to take a mental break, and just enjoy themselves for a few minutes.  We also did a breathing exercise, or game, where the kids had straws and skittles and they raced the skittle across the floor using the straw and their breath.  The kids had fun with that one, and no one ate those dirty skittles, so that was a bonus. 🙂  Happy Halloween!
