Exploring the Solar Eclipse!

Today, in STEM we embarked on an exciting journey to learn about one of the most captivating celestial events: the solar eclipse.

What is a Solar Eclipse?

First things first, let’s uncover the mystery of a solar eclipse. Imagine the Earth, the Moon, and the Sun lining up in a perfect cosmic dance. During a solar eclipse, the Moon moves between the Earth and the Sun, casting its shadow on our planet. This creates a momentary darkness, as if the Sun is taking a brief nap.

In second-grade, we are all about curiosity and discovery. Learning about the solar eclipse is not just about grasping scientific concepts; it’s about igniting the spark of wonder within each of us. To make learning even more exciting, students created their very own solar eclipse flip book.
