The first body system we studied was the nervous system.  It’s the control center of our body.   It controls everything we do, including breathing, walking, thinking, and feeling. This system is made up of our brain, spinal cord, and all the nerves of your body. The brain is the control center and the spinal cord is the major highway to and from the brain.  We worked hard on these basic understandings. We learned about the neurons and how they connect to the spinal cord.  We also investigated the brain, studied the parts and what each does. Next is buiding spinal cords! Stay posted!
