Yesterday, we celebrated a BIG milestone — the 100th Day of School! We kicked off the day with a meaningful visit to George Washington Carver National Monument, where students braved the chilly weather and extended their learning beyond the classroom. The experience offered a powerful lesson in perseverance, curiosity, and innovation.

Back at school, the celebration continued with a snack and high energy as students worked collaboratively in teams to break a code and save the day. This engaging challenge provided a fun and meaningful opportunity to review and apply the skills we’ve been building throughout our first 100 days of second grade.

What a memorable way to honor how far we’ve come — and an exciting reminder of all there is still to learn!
