Today we attended The Summit’s very first Lower School Town Hall Meeting! It was hosted by the Leadership Council, comprised of elected 3rd-, 4th-, and 5th-grade students.

The meeting started with a glimpse of upcoming events, lunch details, and a dash of fun trivia. (Fun fact: Chick-fil-A Tuesdays are the undisputed favorite school lunch day!) The Council then led a lively game of “Stand Up If …”. Students were prompted to stand up if certain statements applied to them, such as “Stand up if you have a brother,” or “Stand up if you like candy.”. The room was filled with laughter as everyone actively participated in the game. The Council also shared a short story and set a challenge for everyone to complete three random acts of kindness each week. The meeting concluded with a celebration of all August and September birthdays and a chorus of “Happy Birthday to You”.

The very first Town Hall Meeting was a great success. Thank you, Leadership Council!
