In addition to learning the symbols and Italian words used to tell how loud or soft to sing/play music, third graders have been learning a fun singing game from Ecuador, called “El Juego Chirimbolo,” which is very similar to “The Hokey Pokey.” Hopefully, they now know the Spanish words for foot, hand, and elbow. Today, they will be reviewing some facts about the invention of the piano, and the components that make it unique.
