Alphabet of positive letters – J

We are working our way through the alphabet, naming positive words each week.  Last week, we discussed the letter J. The students identified joy, jolly, joke, jumping, justice, jester and jovial as their positive words.

Recently, the students learned a pose called ‘baby grasshopper’. It looks difficult, but once you break it down some students were quite successful. Next week, I’ll teach them dolphin pose and dolphin breath.

We will be doing our compliment cards again this December.  This is a craft project in yoga that we make and each student creates a card full of compliments for another student.  It is one of my favorite things to do all year.
