Yesterday, the fifth grade class joined the sixth grade class and visited Missouri Science and Technology University for their STEM day. Students broke into groups and were involved in lessons about topics like rocket engines, ceramic printers, bird adaptations, and binary code. It was fun to mix with older students and learn a little about the science being done on college campuses!
Today, the fifth graders had a little help from the first graders to create dioramas for their imaginary animals. We’re looking forward to our combined presentations tomorrow!
