Week of 10/27 – 10/31

It’s the last week of October!  Here’s what has been going on in the classroom:

Reading: We finished Fatty Legs!  We’ll complete a mini-project to wrap up this unit early next week.

Writing/Social Studies: Students were working on making their slide shows this week. We’re getting closer to being ready for our celebration next week!

Language Study: It was a grammar week.  Students extended their learning about predicates by learning about verbs and adverbs.  The assessment will take place this afternoon.

Science: We learned about weathering and erosion this week.  We will be looking for examples of real life weathering and erosion on our field trip next week!

Math: We started our new math unit on multiplying fractions.
