Reaching Out to our Springfield Community

So much happened this week! We really immersed ourselves in many of the things Springfield has to offer! On Monday, 5th graders went to the Nature Center to learn about glades and erosion/weathering/deposition.

On Wednesday, we had our Trimester 1 Celebration. Fifth graders were the experts and got to teach visitors and other Summit community members about all we learn in fifth grade!

We also went on a Dia de los Muertos field trip to MSU.

On Friday, the Little Theater came to Summit to put on a play about Frog and Toad.

It’s so wonderful to take advantage of the learning we can do around the community!
