Jumping Up!

Yesterday, the fifth graders engaged in our annual Jump Up day for fifth graders, as they are preparing to Soar into Sixth!  The students got to make and test paper airplanes with Mr. Powers, delve into ancient civilizations with Mrs. Smith, track video game statistics with Mr. Long, and explore band instruments during power hour with Mr. Henke and the current sixth graders.

The students got to experience a taste of middle school life by exploring the upper school space, getting to know many of the upper school teachers, and moving from room to room the way that the upper schoolers do.  Fifth graders asked a lot of excellent questions and got a lot out of the experience!
