Early Learners have been exploring the letter Tt this week and learning all kinds of words that start with Tt! To add to their learning of this letter, we have also learned a few words in Spanish that start with Tt:
- El tomate (tomato)
- Las tijeras (scissors)
- La tortuga (turtle)
- El tambor (drum)
Early Learners have enjoyed listening to songs in Spanish about each word, which is great listening practice. They developed their listening skills and were encouraged to count on their fingers each time they heard our word of the day in our Spanish songs. Many were very proud and excited to share with the class how many times they heard each word.
Thursday was all about el tambor (drum). I think this was the word Early Learners were most excited to focus on. Early Learners were able to show off their coloring skills on a page all about drums.
We are looking forward to learning about the rest of the letters of the alphabet in the weeks to come!
