Calendar Math

Learning calendar math in kindergarten goes beyond marking days on a calendar. Students engage with numbers, patterns, and sequences, building a strong foundation for their mathematical understanding. Calendar math introduces the concepts of days, weeks, and months, which helps them grasp the passage of time and connects to their growing number sense. It also incorporates color and shape patterns for each date, providing additional opportunities for the students to predict and sequence. It’s so exciting to see the Adventurers work with the various patterns and improve their problem-solving skills!
