Shake It Off!

On Friday, the Kindergarteners enthusiastically attached colorful sticky notes numbered 1 through 30 to their clothing, transforming themselves into walking number displays. Once every child was fully adorned with these number notes, they shook their bodies, sending the sticky notes fluttering in all directions like confetti. The classroom buzzed with excitement as they collected the scattered number notes, sharing laughter and teamwork as they worked together as a whole class. Together, they faced the challenge of sorting the notes into numerical order, engaging in lively discussions about the sequence of numbers, and helping one another when they stumbled. This interactive and kinesthetic approach not only reinforced their number recognition skills but also fostered movement, cooperation, and social interaction, making the learning experience both enjoyable and impactful.
