Last Trimester Celebration

Thank You for Visiting Kinder Kitchen!

Our farm-to-table unit was much more than just learning about the life cycles of different plants and animals. Students learned how meats, fruits, and vegetables are sourced and how they are used to create our favorite dishes. Additionally, they created place mats with a plant life cycle on the front to represent their knowledge of plants. Once students completed their research on plants and the origins of their recipes, our little chefs learned the importance of cleanliness, uniformity, and hospitality. They all came dressed in their red polo shirts, with white hats and aprons, prepared for a day of fun, service, and camaraderie. Before the opening of Kinder Kitchen, students prepared by folding the napkins and setting the tables with their research placemats, menus, plates, and silverware. They were excited to take their guests’ orders and serve them before themselves as a way to show appreciation. Everyone was surprised by the abundance of food that was prepared and served. It was amazing to witness how the restaurant came to life with such energy. We are grateful for the support and dedication each of you contributed, which helped bring Kinder Kitchen to fruition. Thank you for being an essential part of this journey!
