In our Social Studies we have been looking at the map of Missouri and learning about the main cities of Missouri. Today we created our map, key, and compass Rose! We learned that the Mississippi river is on the East border of Missouri, and the Missouri river runs across the state going West to East where it then joins the Mississippi river. We also learned that Missouri has mountains called the Ozark Mountains and that Taum Sauk Mountain is our highest point. We are excited to continue learning about our beautiful state!
