Plan for 4/23 – 4/26

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a wonderful break with their family. Here’s the plan for the week:

Math: Students will continue to work with fractions. This week they will learn how to simplify fractions in lowest terms.

Science: We will start the MO plant/animals unit. The first topic is life cycles.

Reading: We continue to read Little House on the Prairie and will review figurative language concepts taught last week.

Writing: Students are finishing their fictional narratives this week. Those who reached out to enter their child’s writing in the PBS Kids Writing Contest – all writings must be finished and turned in to me by this Thursday, the 25th. We will continue to work on them in class as well.

Have a great week!
