Happy Monday!!
Today the students will continue ERB testing. Testing will be wrapped up later this week. Thank you to all of you who sent in drinks and snacks!
We will continue our new unit this week on writing Fiction narratives. Today, the students will be working on developing their primary and secondary characters.
In science, we are beginning a new unit on heat, light and sound. This unit is very hands-on with lots of different experiments. I’m looking forward to teaching this unit!
Don’t forget Tomorrow April 12 from 6:30-7:30 pm Dr. Brandi Klepper will be back at The Summit for Part 2 of our Parent Education Series on child and adolescent brain development. While this presentation will primarily be targeted at families with children in 3rd grade through middle school, we encourage all families to attend and to invite their friends even if their children are not enrolled at The Summit. Dr. Klepper is a wonderful resource, and we are honored to host her on campus for all interested families.
Dr. Brandi L. Klepper is a Missouri licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in children, adolescents and adults who are gifted, talented and/or high achieving. She has had a private psychology practice specializing in gifted and talented individuals since 2002.
Best,
Mrs. Weis
