Light and Sight!!

Greetings! We had an awesome week in 3rd grade learning all about our eyes and light. We learned how we see color, the visible spectrum of light (ROYGBIV), translucent, transparent and opaque and the rods and cones in our eyes. The kids LOVED watching videos with all sorts of optical illusions. Then, the kids made artwork that showed opaque, transparent and translucent and drew optical illusions. Next week, Mr. Powers will be coming in to help the kids dissect cow eyes. We are done with our ERB testing! Thank you so much to all of you who sent in snacks. Looking forward to another great week! -Mrs. Weis
