Heat, Sound, and Light Review

Yesterday, the third graders zoned in on reviewing  vocabulary and scientific concepts from our recent science unit. I was impressed by their ability to remember complex ideas learned in the past several weeks. They distinguished between the three types of heat energy (conduction, convection, and radiation) and recognized the differences between refraction and reflection. Additionally, they identified the characteristics of sound energy. These kids absorb information like sponges! For fun, ask your child about the color that helps you stay cooler in the summer and why!
