Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum

Third grade went through a true blast from the past yesterday at the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum! They were able to visit Laura’s real home that she lived in, complete with her personal effects and belongings from the pioneer days. Students were able to get a glimpse at the way of life back then and witness how different it is from what we know today. We continue to read Little House on the Prairie in class, which students have loved! We have many books from her collection here at the Summit for those who are intrigued to read more. Thank you to the parents who were able to join us today!
