Ozarks Food Harvest Gardens

It was a BEAUTIFUL day to be outside on a field trip!  We learned so much about gardening, our Springfield community, and food security.  Students planted seeds, helped with mulch, and tended beds.  We learned about gathering rainwater, how to start seedlings, about the benefits of mulching, how the Ozarks Food Harvest helps people in our community, and how Springfield families can help increase food security in our area.  It was a great experience!
